Question 1

Is there really no cookie banner?

Accepted Answer

Really. There is no banner because there is no cookie: the key writes absolutely nothing into your visitors' browsers. With no storage there is no consent to ask for under the ePrivacy directive.

Question 2

What counts as a pageview?

Accepted Answer

Every room viewed (the pageview event) and every doorbell (the custom events you define). Engagement events and filtered delivery bots do not count.

Question 3

What happens if I go past 1M pageviews a month?

Accepted Answer

Nothing gets cut. A lost event never comes back, so we keep storing everything. We write to you, look at the volume together and agree a custom price.

Question 4

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from Billing in Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing else is charged.

Question 5

Do I need a card to try it?

Accepted Answer

No. A full 30 days with no card. If it does not convince you, do nothing and it ends.

Question 6

What if blockers hide my visits?

Accepted Answer

You can serve the key and the endpoint from your own domain with a three-line proxy. We explain it for Cloudflare, Nginx, Vercel, Netlify and Next.

Question 7

Can I move over from Google Analytics or Plausible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and you can run both at once while you decide: the key weighs 1.3 KB and touches nothing. The history importer is on the way.

Question 8

Where is my data?

Accepted Answer

In the European Union, always. We are a Spanish company and we do not move data out. The list of sub-processors is public.
